Karley is a law clerk for Albers & Associates. A native of Middle Tennessee, Karley earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a minor in Public Administration & Nonprofit Management. Afterward, she worked for herself as a campaign consultant, and she worked as a resource navigator for United Way’s 211 program, which is a free and confidential service that connects neighbors in need with local life-improving resources.
She then worked as a paralegal for a boutique personal injury firm in Nashville, Tennessee, where she was trained in providing exceptional customer service, producing high-quality work, and achieving the best possible outcome for clients. Her passion for helping people navigate the legal system and delivering tangible outcomes for clients led her to pursue a career as an attorney.
Now, Karley is a third-year student at the University of Baltimore School of Law. During law school Karley has worked as a law clerk for the Public Justice Center, a nonprofit that provides no-cost legal services to underserved communities in Baltimore. She also worked as a research assistant for Professor F. Michael Higginbotham. After law school, Karley will sit for the Maryland Bar Exam.
In her free time, Karley attends yoga and pilates classes, reads, and spends time with family and friends.
