Cynthia Unglesbee

Cynthia Hatten Unglesbee is a lifelong resident of Carroll County, having graduated from North Carroll High School. She received her Bachelor's of Arts degree from Hood College in 1995, and her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1999. In 2000, Cindy held the position of Judicial Clerk to the Honorable Raymond E. Beck, Sr. of the Circuit Court for Carroll County, where she gained valuable experience in the workings of the Court system, performed legal research, and assisted in the writing of judicial opinions. Her skills are much sought after and she has extensive experience in litigating divorce and child custody matters.

Cindy also serves the Court as a Pretrial Officer in Family Law cases, a position that requires extensive knowledge of the law and of likely outcomes in litigated cases. She was recently reappointed by Chief Justice Fader as a member of the Character Committee of the State Board of Law Examiners, which she has served for more than 10 years. Cindy investigates and evaluates the character and fitness of those seeking to enter the legal profession.

Cindy has been designated as a Super Lawyer by Baltimore Magazine for several consecutive years. The Super Lawyer designation recognizes a high degree of peer review and professional achievement.
