Bio
Dakota Halford is a law clerk of Albers & Associates. After finishing a B.S. in Behavioral Science, she interned at Heartly House, Inc. in Frederick, Maryland, which provides no-cost legal services to survivors of domestic violence. She also interned with the McMinn County Department of Juvenile Services in Athens, Tennessee, where she first gained experience in the legal field. Currently, Dakota is working to complete her J.D. at the University of Baltimore School of Law.
During her time at Tennessee Wesleyan University, Dakota earned many honors and awards. She made the Dean’s List and won The Horizon Award, the Mr. T Jim Thompson Award, the Volunteer of the Year Award, and the Athletic Director Award. She was also awarded the AAC Women’s Lacrosse Champion of Character title two years in a row.
Dakota has volunteered her time and talents with “Give Kids the World” in Orlando, Florida. She has also volunteered with Linganore High School as a girls’ lacrosse goalie coach and at Hood College as a women’s lacrosse assistant coach.
