Makenzie Pennington is a proud Baltimore native and J.D. candidate at the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she will graduate in 2026. She earned her B.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice with a minor in American History from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2021.

Makenzie began her legal career at Albers & Associates in 2022 as a legal assistant, where she discovered her passion for criminal law and litigation. She returned to the firm in 2025 to continue pursuing that passion and serve the Baltimore community she proudly calls home.

Known for her outgoing personality and dedication to client advocacy, Makenzie brings energy, empathy, and a strong work ethic to every case. Outside of the office, she enjoys reading sci-fi and fantasy, going to the gym, and rooting for the Ravens and Orioles.
