Old National Pike Car Accident in Frederick County, Maryland

Recently, Albers & Associates was contacted by a driver involved in an Old National Pike car accident.  Unfortunately, our office had to turn down the case due to contributory negligence.

Old National Pike Car Accident at Mt Tabor Road

The auto accident occurred at the intersection of Old National Pike and Mt Tabor Road.

This is very dangerous intersection because of the high rate of speed on Old National Pike and the hill leading towards Mt Tabor Road.

This individual was a driver of an automobile trying to cross over Old National Pike from Mt Tabor Road.  The driver had a stop sign and advised that he looked both ways before proceeding.

Unfortunately, the driver did not see another vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on Old National Pike.  The automobiles violently collided causing severe damage and multiple injuries to both drivers and their passengers.

The driver of the vehicle attempting to cross Old National Pike was issued a ticket for failure to yield.  This driver contacted my office seeking help with his injuries after reviewing our blog, videos and client testimonials.

Amazingly, video of the accident was captured, and my office was able to review the video.

Unfortunately, we had to turn down the case because it appeared on the video that the driver pulled out in front of the other vehicle.  We politely explained contributory negligence to this individual and advised them to try to file a PIP claim to take care of their medical bills.
