Choki Im joined the Albers & Associates legal team as a Law Clerk through the University of Baltimore School of Law’s Externship Program.

As a Law Clerk, Choki assists our attorneys in performing legal research and analysis, drafting orders and memoranda, and attending to other critical parts of our clients’ cases.

Choki graduated from Roanke University with a B.A. in International Relations, and from Yong In University with a B.S. in Biology. While at Roanoke, she worked as a Maroon Ambassador, representing her college and introducing the school to prospective students and their families, and served as an Orientation Leader for consecutive years. During college, Choki was selected to participate in the Virginia Program, which allowed her to study at Oxford University. While she was at Yong In University, she was in the genetics lab and conducted diverse labs for study.

Choki is currently pursuing her J.D. at the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she serves as Treasurer of the Student Bar Association and a 3L Rep for the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association. She also served as a Student Attorney for UBalt Law’s Criminal Defense & Advocacy Clinic, where she represented underprivileged clients with criminal matters in Baltimore City District Court pursuant to MD Rule 19-220. During law school, she worked as a law clerk for various Maryland firms and city government and served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Charles M. Blomquist. Choki is also currently serving as a volunteer law clerk at Baltimore City Office of Public Defender’s.

Choki is fluent in Korean. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and watching her favorites series.
