Ross W. Albers, Attorney
Ross W. Albers graduated from the prestigious University of Baltimore School of Law with a concentration in criminal practice. His passion for the legal system earned him an editorial position on the Law Review.
While attending law school, Ross worked as an insurance adjuster for Travelers Insurance. He was a member of the Special Liability Group and focused on high-profile cases involving asbestos, lead paint, trucking accidents, and more.
Ross also attended Bucknell University, earning a degree in Business Management. He played on Bucknell’s nationally ranked lacrosse team.
Ross W. Albers currently resides in Carroll County, Maryland with his wife Emily and their four dogs: Bing, Brooklyn, Freddie, and Henry.
After passing the bar exam, Attorney Ross W. Albers left his position as an insurance adjuster and began his legal career as a prosecutor in the Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office. There he prosecuted criminal, DUI, juvenile, and traffic cases in the circuit and district courts of Maryland.
Along with the State of Maryland, Ross is also barred in the United States District Court of Maryland. He is a member of the Maryland Association for Justice, Maryland State Bar Association, Baltimore County Bar Association, and Carroll County Bar Association.
While Ross takes on challenging cases from a broad spectrum of legal practices, he focuses on being the best at his craft in criminal defense, DUI and DWI, juvenile defense, personal injury, and medical malpractice. By focusing primarily on those sectors, he is able to stay on top of the ever-evolving Maryland laws involved with each.
Ross W. Albers is often recognized for his exceptionally meticulous legal skills and impressive background by local and national law associations. Most recently, he was awarded the Maryland Super Lawyers Rising Star Award in Criminal Defense: DUI two years in a row: 2016 and 2017.
Ryan D. Lewis, Attorney
Ryan D. Lewis is a real estate property attorney specializing in legal services for real property tax liens, foreclosures, landlord/tenant disputes, and other real estate property law issues.
After graduating from the Pennsylvania State University, Mr. Lewis attended the Widener University School of Law. While at Widener, he participated in the Wills for Heroes program, which provides free estate planning services to firefighters, police officers, and paramedics. Prior to joining the office, Mr. Lewis was the District of Columbia, Maryland, and New Jersey tax lien portfolio manager at O’Connell, Doyle & Lewis.
Mr. Lewis has been actively involved in servicing thousands of real property tax liens. The wide-ranging real estate and litigation experience of Mr. Lewis allows him to identify and adapt foreclosure methods in order to guide the redemption process and minimize client risk. When a lien fails to redeem, Mr. Lewis is able to leverage his knowledge and skills in order to maximize asset protection and increase his client’s wealth.
Robert Graham Fiore, Of Counsel
The Law Office of Ross W. Albers has strengthened its expanding Civil Litigation practice in Maryland with the arrival of Robert Graham Fiore, who joins the firm as Of Counsel. He was previously with the Baltimore office of Miller & Zois.
Mr. Fiore represents individuals in a wide range of Civil Litigation including serious personal injury, wrongful death, and insurance coverage cases. Mr. Fiore will serve as counsel and litigator in connection with the Firm’s Personal Injury caseload. He brings over 30 years of experience in negotiating settlements along with over 100 successful civil jury trials. Mr. Fiore regularly conducts continuing legal education programs and trial skills workshops for the Maryland State Bar Association and the National Business Institute. He also volunteers as a pro bono advocate for crime victims through the Maryland Crime Victims Resource Center and serves as a privately retained mediator and arbitrator.
