Please accept this letter as my official notice that I no longer wish for you to represent me regarding the collision on [insert date]. I am seeking other council to further pursue the claims in litigation. Please prepare my file to be collected along with an itemization of your costs. Further please let me know when the files are available for pick-up within fourteen days from the date of this letter.

The decision to change attorneys is not an easy one.  You likely developed a relationship with your attorney.  It’s not personal, it’s business.  You have to do what you feel is right for your case.
