Personal Injury Attorney Ross W. Albers will speak at at the Maryland Chiropractic Association University’s course on car accidents on August 17 at the Hunt Valley Country Club. The event will be hosted by the Growth Coach of Greater Baltimore.
Along with Attorney Adam Smallow and Chiropractor Marc Gulitz, the panel discussion will focus on how chiropractors and attorneys can work together to maximize recovery for their clients. From intakes to settlement, the session is geared towards new chiropractors that may not understand the nuances of personal injury claims.
What is the MCA University?
MCA University accepts applications from Maryland chiropractors, members or non-members, who are licensed in the state for 7 years or less.
Classes are led by experienced professionals that will engage students through lecture and hands-on casework to impart knowledge and best practices to young chiropractors. Along with education, chiropractors will also create comradery among their colleagues to facilitate long-term relationship and network building.
The university will drive the knowledge and skills to understand the nuances of practicing chiropractic in Maryland in a comprehensive way.
Class topics include:
- Physical Therapy
- Personal Injury
- Legal Issues/Informed Consent
- Practice Building
The university culminates with a graduation ceremony and happy hour celebration. The five course series is free to members. Non-member tuition is $25. Chiropractors with 100% attendance will receive free registration to the MCA Fall Convention. Attendees must be licensed in Maryland 7 years or less. Class size is limited to the first 20 doctors. Classes take place from the end of July through September and are held in various locations.
